Phonological awareness skills are crucial for literacy, but are also an area that many children, including those with #DevLangDis struggle with. The wonderful people at @SLSncl have produced FREE assessment and intervention resources.

I feel like my life would be much easier if I had Grammerly for my brain and not just a sneaky free version to help refine my report writing.

@InfoSmira Selective.Mutism.Merch! Spread the word. Let's raise some much needed funding for SMiRA and create some much needed awareness for SM.

#MySLTday big thank you to @what3words for the info & graphics for me to create a QR code for the appointment base. Many are missed because people attend the wrong site. I'm hoping the QR code on letters will make a difference, particularly for those who don't have English as L1

I know itโs the last day of July, I havenโt had the spoons or energy to do much for Disability Pride Month. (July has been interesting for me). But Iโd like to say something: โIโm disabled & proud!โ ๐. Two words Iโd have never have said, let alone in the same sentence! Contโฆ

@Peston SM is NOT a choice; 'selective' is a medical term meaning 'not pervasive'; ie the person is sometimes able to speak, when they aren't too anxious. Impacts all communication not just speech. Is possible to support dev of communication sensitively and supportively - TALK to SMiRA!

This is remarkably on point!
If โInside Outโ was neurodivergent. I have never seen a video like this and am mind-blown at how Georgia has created such a perfect re-enactment of many of our neurodivergent brains. I was sent this by a colleague and will now be sharing with everyone! https://t.co/dDUMYqMsVn
