Very proud to be accepting a Giving Voice award for @NDSLTUK and the Disability Working Group with @mazlavender. Today has really highlighted to me how important advocacy and representation is for those of us with lived experience of disability and discrimination #RCSLTAwards

Protect trans kids. Thatโs all.
Rest in peace, Brianna Ghey ๐ค Brianna deserved a chance to become a beautiful adult woman, and to live to see a world where trans people are safe and respected. Anyone in the media who is using her deadname and erasing Briannaโs identity should be ashamed of themselves.

Quite a few autistic people I know are struggling with the uncertainty of what will happen in the aftermath of the Queen's death. They're wondering what will happen tomorrow and in the coming days, if things like schools and shops will be open.

Does anyone know of any social stories of similar resources to support people with additional needs to understand the Queenโs death and associated upcoming changes (both long and short term)? If so, please share them here. Thanks!

Attended an excellent training session today on Autism Clinic Strategy from the Neurodiversity team - very refreshing to see a Neurodiversity affirming autism session that utilised lived experience to inform clinical guidance. Excited to see how the program develops!

Iโm interested in knowing what adjustments you need in the workplace/uni, if youโve told colleagues and if they were supportive, what you feel our neurotypical colleagues need to know, and how you feel employers/ universities/ professional bodies could support us more?
