Parental leave for physicians in the US is inadequate. We call for evidence-based 12 weeks paid parental leave!. Our study showed no paid leave for 42% birth, 44% nonbirth, 40% adoptive, and 75% foster parents. @nedalai @ShikhaJainMD @MarieRMcKinnon @RushMedical @JAMANetworkOpen.
