What I’ve learnt about working from home. Folk work longer hours and harder but, are happier. Better for the environment. Enables keeping pets, reduces stress, saves money. We should have trusted people long ago. Nine to five M-F in an office block is so last century #Dontgoback

#OnThisDay in 1922, Ivy Williams became the #first woman called to the Bar of England & Wales. The Law Journal described it as “one of the most memorable days in the long annals of the legal profession” and we quite agree. Read more about Ivy's life: https://t.co/EedBYiyz8t

Is the menopause still taboo in law firms? Luckily attitudes are changing with health and well being are becoming more important. @PaddleCocks it's key, & that's why we have a flexible practice.

Can completely relate to this.... The small notes I get passed by my daughter during the day while I work at home always make me smile. No matter what I'm dealing with.

My husband had a stressful day at work yesterday. My kids could hear him on the phone in his makeshift office. This morning, my son dropped a picture he drew on his dad's laptop and said, "We love you, dad. Even when those people on the phone are being dumbasses."

A positive of #COVID19 #WFH is a generation better prepared for work. My 15yo son sits with me for much of the day as I talk, "meet" & type. 000s of children will know more about what (office) work involves than any of their predecessors. *Workplace* expectations will differ too
