There is another shadow present when doing away with "inclusive" policies across college campuses - it's quite possible that an increasing proportion of students will self-silence. After all, a classroom that isn't welcoming of perspectives isn't going to encourage more voices.
🧑‍🎓Student self-censorship isn't just the result of peer pressure. Our new survey of 1,548 respondents revealed that many Canadian students worry about participating in class discussions due to the potential reaction of their professors.
