Been off twitter for almost a month now - I have gone thru all meetings sponsored by Intergov Secretariat and it is all well and truly shocking since JT. Canada's intergovernmental 'system-machinery-arrangements' whatever word you want to use is appalling.
@GabrielEidelman @parkinac @JennWallner @danielbeland @RobertSchertzer @charlesbreton A few challenges in answering: Cdn Intergov Sec prob didn’t coordinate or log them. Not all teleconferences would’ve been publicized, even after. Suggest ATIP to PCO/IGA. Might guess more convos but maybe not ALL 1st mins online (bc schedules) during covid.

If only @OttawaHealth @VeraEtches and @OCDSB had the authority to re-instate such simple things as a mandatory mask policy to help protect us….. Oh wait - YOU COULD!
Both @OttawaHealth and the Ontario Science Table are reporting rising wastewater, expecting a case surge, and advising people to wear masks, days before most mandates are lifted.

Yes, please. This would show us that you are more committed to science and evidence, @VeraEtches, than you are to simply falling into line, politically. Masking is easy and effective. There is no good reason to end it until the pandemic ends.
Hi @OttawaHealth and @OCDSB - how about doing us a solid, and maintaining masks in schools and vaxx passes for all @ottawacity public facilities? Never too late to do the right thing. No need to be 🐑 to bad decisions of @fordnation. It's one reason to have decentralized power.

As a parent of one of them, I am not willing to put my child at risk of contracting w/o vaccination. Have done everything you have asked for last 2 years. Don't abandon families with little ones, please!
