A few weeks ago, my six-year-old son asked me: “Dad, is COVID-19 forever?” It’s not. And we need to keep that in mind. Because yes, this sucks - but better days are coming. If we keep working hard and following public health guidelines, we will get through this together.

Great call. Best wishes to @Noeline_B for this appointment.
Today I intend to appoint the brilliant @Noeline_B to the Governing Authority of UCD. A signal of my intent to ensure issues regarding harassment & promotion of gender equality are represented at the highest levels within our institutions. More to follow as I fill vacant posts

Disappointing to see that this is on the table again in negotiations. The Alliance, over 65 of its members, young people and children’s rights champions have all joined the call #TheDCYAMustStay including the Ombudsman for Children Dr Niall Muldoon @OCO_ireland

Great initiative and no doubt will be much-enjoyed by all the disappointed sixth-classers missing out on their last term. Well done @sarahwebbishere and all involved. Available from 23 May from @KidsBooksIrel website.
