Funny, but there's a nugget there. Day's wife has told him in the past he needs to suck it up.
The only reason the tour hasn’t canceled the Players is that Jason Day hasn’t withdrawn. He’s our compass here. If it hasn’t scared him away then we gotta be safe.

For all the anguish Tyrrell Hatton put himself through on Bay Hill’s back nine, he finished with 7 straight pars. A U.S. Open finish on a U.S. Open-type setup. Bravo. Enjoy the @APinv red cardigan.

Brandon Matthews, in the @APinv field on a sponsor exemption, came up about 10 yards short of driving the green on the 402-yard 10th hole. Measured 355 yards on ShotLink. Alas, he walked off with a par.

FWIW, @Paul_Casey winning score of 8-under at @ValsparChamp today is highest total by a @PGATOUR winner this season. Also, Copperhead now ranks as tour's 3rd toughest. Florida courses are Nos. 2-3-4.
