I just found out Elonās going to start charging a fee to use this deteriorating platform soon. Iāve been fairly dormant on here for a while hoping he would sell & move on, but when the fee kicks in I will deactivate. Iāve been on Threads for a while. So far it seems pretty good.

This is a good move. Writing is still a valuable skill. Could not understand why this was removed in the first place. And I donāt really think a ā2-year implementation planā is necessary. Pick your battles, teacher unions.

It's not the Trump prosecution that makes the United States look like a banana republic. It was the Trump presidency that made the United States look like a banana republic.

@andrewaperez I like Trudeau. Donāt love him. But Conservative parties have gone so far off the rails - populism, divisive politics - and have offered up SUCH weak leaders that Trudeau remains the clear choice for most Canadians. Until something changes, thatās the way it will be.

The indictment of a former president is unprecedented. But so too is the unlawful conduct in which Trump has been engaged. A nation of laws must hold the rich and powerful accountable, even when they hold high office. Especially when they do. To do otherwise is not democracy.
