For 16 years I travelled with Mike Bossy around the country with the Safe and Fun Hockey Program. He was so kind, great with the kids, and humble. Today we lost a great human being.

No and the sport will move to 10 teams next Olympics. Growing faster than the men's game did. One of the most sought after tickets at the Olympic games. It's a question worth asking, but the answer is NO!
Sending my love to the family of Lizzi MacEachern who passed away this week. She was 12 yrs old. Sending love to her parents Dan and Nikki, and her sisters Shelby and Samantha. ❤️
This picture is framed in my home office where it will always remain. My heart is broken, but I am also smiling as “Mr. Bob Cole” & his Bobisms are having a dark rum and coke somewhere & he’s saying “Oh Baby” Love to his family and the HNIC family. We were so close back then. 💔
Thanks for watching Canada. Please continue to support women’s sports in non Olympic years, and let’s hope both women’s soccer and hockey will have a pro league soon within this country. 👊❤️🇨🇦
On Friday morning, a TV audience of 4.4 million watched

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me. NHL players, coaches, GM’s, colleagues on and off the air, you have always supported me and I thank you. It has been fun to have done this job for almost 2 decades. I am grateful and look forward to new adventures and home ❤️
I just landed home and would like to vouch for the terrific character of Jocelyne Larocque. She will rethink her actions in the future, but she is someone I consider to be an excellent role model for my daughter. She was a terrific teammate and she is a remarkable young woman...
A picture, not press release, of real fans watching women’s hockey. Packed house in Orangeville and no surprise based on the players they get to watch, and the long history of women’s hockey in Orangeville.

@PWHPA
All she really wants to do is just play soccer. All this other stuff comes with a heavy burden, but as usual
@sincy12
is the voice of her teammates, and she does it with class and strength.
“As a team we do not trust Canada Soccer to be open and honest as we continue to negotiate, for not only fair and equitable compensation, but for the future of our program.”
- Christine Sinclair in her opening statement to the Parliamentary Heritage Committee
This man is my friend and my colleague. His voice tonight was so bang on. You continue to be someone I value, and I am so thankful to have had the chance to learn from you over the years! ❤️👊
Congrats to
@wick_22
on her new gig with the Leafs. Let’s hope the first coach in the NHL happens soon too. So many deserving of the opportunity like Danielle Goyette and others. Well done
@MapleLeafs
for being open to new ideas and taking the lead.
All Top Tier tournaments should be treated the same. The WJC once didn’t make any money, but with support , TV coverage and a belief in it’s growth, it has now become a key economic driver for the IIHF. Postpone U18 WWC and show that same belief in women’s hockey.
#solutionsfirst
Due to ongoing concerns regarding the spread of the Omicron variant, The IIHF Council has made the difficult decision to cancel all tournaments scheduled for January 2022.

Happy 90th Birthday Mr. Bob Cole. This is a photo of me getting to work with him during his last season on Hockey Night in Canada. We worked together many times, especially during the early years of my career. Cheers to you with a dark rum and Coke. 💕🎂
Excited about this new opportunity with

This current generation of players gave up so much to get this far, and I want to be there every step of the way to support them. 🙏❤️
I asked all these young girls today who their favourite hockey player was, and almost all said Sidney Crosby (who I love ❤️) BUT maybe one day they will say a female player, because they can see them now all the time on TV!

You are beautiful inside and out, and that’s what bothers them most. Love watching you and love seeing all the great things you do for our city. ❤️
It truly is just hockey at the end of the day. Pure raw emotion from Tree here. Love to

who we all continue to support and pray for. ❤️
These women inspire me everyday! They are strong, educated, passionate, and incredible ambassadors for the sport of hockey. They have done their homework and are standing united.

US-Canada women’s gold medal hockey game on NBC averaged 3.54 million viewers. That’s more viewers than any NHL game this season. And second most watched hockey game in United States since 2019.
To finally call a game with this great man was such a great experience in my life. With my first game in an NHL booth alongside Mr. Bob Cole in 2006 and then finally getting a chance to call a couple with Chris Cuthbert...doesn’t get any better than this.

They get the best player in the female game ever, but also get the best person and team first leader to go along with that.

Sending love to to the Gretzky family. Lucky to have spent time with Walter over multiple Olympic Games and at many charity events and gatherings. He was one of a kind as far as his generosity, humble demeanour and absolute passion for life, hockey and family.

Drake Batherson on Women's U18 Worlds cancellation:
"I have a younger sister (Mae) who plays NCAA D1 (Syracuse)...I'd like to see that tournament happen, I watch a ton of girls hockey. They're such great players, they deserve to showcase their skill just as much as we did."
Bringing home World Championship gold for the first time since 2012 and Olympic Gold for the first time since 2014 with this amazing group of staff/players was a lot of fun. However, win or lose I would have been proud of what this group has become.

Our inaugural game reached 2.9 million Canadian viewers on New Year’s Day across our three Canadian national broadcast partners: CBC, Sportsnet, and TSN.

I am hearing the Women's Hockey Olympic tournament will move to 10 teams in 4 years time. Great news for women's game as it helps push for countries to support their programs a little bit more being in the Olympics.
@CBCOlympics
...it’s a difficult and emotional time after losing a gold medal game. You feel as if you have let down the country, especially in hockey. We can all learn from this, and she will soon realize that she will learn more about herself from this silver much like I did in 1998

Congrats
@sincy12
You and your teammates have created a lasting legacy. It was a pleasure to watch you grow to be the leader you are, and to watch with pride as you excelled on the field.
@CanadaSoccerEN
has been lucky to have you, as you have fought for change with such class.
If you missed the opening tease tonight on Hockey Night in Canada...here it is. Thanks to

This is my cousin Noah. 1 blood clot in the brain, lost all mobility of his arms and legs and is currently in rehab. It would mean the world to have the hockey universe cheering him on through his journey🏒🥅

You have been a big part of my broadcast career and life. No BS, your honesty, and always the best teammate. We are here always! Thanks for sharing this.
This teenager in Canada got a knock on his door from the neighbors and thought he might be in trouble for dribbling his basketball all hours of the day.
That’s not why they were there.
Please take 2-minutes. Kindness. Humanity. Community. Pass it on…
Four years since being given 6-12 months to live, Chris shows me every single day how to never, ever, ever give up. People with ALS are told to go home and prepare to die. Aspirations and hopes aren’t supposed to be in the conversation, but look at him now.

On a day like today let’s remember to only spread positive and powerful messages on social media. You never know what someone is dealing with. Be ready to talk and listen without judgement.
Today Mr. Bob Cole is being honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award, and I will be forever grateful to have worked alongside him over the years. From my first game in the booth 16 years ago to the many games after. He taught me so much and we enjoy a great friendship.

When a stranded zamboni looked like it might block their ice time, this girls' minor hockey team pushed it out of the way.
Now that's teamwork. |

What an honour to be a part of the Hockey Hall of Fame Selection Committee. I start my journey tonight alongside Mark Chipman. The rookies together. A wonderful group to work with.
@HockeyHallFame
Excited and honoured to be part of this amazing group of women who have put down so many bricks to help build the game. They are not the only ones, as it has taken so many to get where we are today.

For many families life at this time of yr gets ramped up with back to school, sports activities and new schedules. For us it’s the start of another NHL season too, and lots of travel. Make time for each other. Let the world stop even for a few moments.

@TheCWHL
I would like to thank all the volunteers, staff, players, sponsors, Board members and those who supported the league for so many years. I do believe that bigger and better is in the future for women’s hockey. 🙏
Since I met
