Wait, if 27 survived the initial crash, but 13 more passengers were killed by extreme hardships including the avalanche, then how were 16 eventually rescued? The math ain't mathin'.

You can listen to the cockpit voice recorder on YouTube. It's very harrowing to listen to, but like you said, you can tell the pilots really did everything they possibly could to try to save the plane & passengers.
@Enezator
The car looks like it wasn't damaged very much. I once had a deer try to jump over my car like that and it came crashing through my windshield instead, partially collapsing the roof. Cost over $8,000 to repair!

Smoking in a workplace setting. I hate thinking now about how much secondhand smoke I used to have to breathe in to do my job in an office workplace.

I'm going with Muscovy ducks. Roseate spoonbills may be weirder-looking birds, but I don't see them that frequently. Honorable mentions to the American alligator and the Florida fighting conch.

I think it was always a part of his racing strategy to fall behind in the early going and set his own pace to save something for the final stretch.
I remember watching this live and thinking there's no way he can make up for how far he allowed himself to drop back from the pack.
@Super70sSports
I agree with you except for the part about calling the Let's Dance album underrated. It was a huge commercial success and his all-time best selling album.

I paid off a car loan early once. It would have been better to have kept it. The car loan disappeared quickly from my credit history once I paid it off. Now I always see a negative factor affecting my credit score is there's no history of installment loans, just revolving credit.

53 years is a really long time to rot in a prison cell. IMO she paid the price for her crimes, but I'm not going to argue too much w/ anyone who says she should have lived out her life in prison.
@saxena_puru
There's so much attention paid to every tiny little contract win that $PLTR gets. Palantir has a current market cap of ~$42.7B and gets a contract win of $89.9M and it's considered to be great.
Meanwhile $SAIC with a market cap of ~$5.0B wins a contract worth $3.6B.

It's only 5:57? Seems like it was a lot longer than that!
I learned just from listening to that song that Lake Superior is sometimes also known as the big lake they call "Gitche Gumee."

I wasn't sure what I was looking at the first time I saw one of those. I'd never heard of them before. Saw a couple of them last summer. I really like the clear wings that you can see through.

The Covid crash of March 2020 doesn't get as much attention as it should, mainly because we came back pretty quickly to hit all-time highs again.
It's pretty impressive that March 16, 2020 was the third worst day in S&P 500 history. I'll never forget it.

If a stock has run up to an absurd level because of its cultish following, what's wrong with the CEO dumping hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of shares to the cult? I've seen Karp do the same thing with $PLTR stock. They're just making a rational decision.

Zebra longwings are probably my favorite arthropod of 2020. I think they have a pretty limited range in the U.S., mainly peninsular Florida and southern Texas. Do you ever see any of these in Louisiana Gina?

So ttm revenues of only about $2.33B and a current market cap of $47.7B, or 20.4x revenues, and the $PLTR cult thinks this company is the greatest thing since sliced bread!
