Now our only way to manage this is a manual standing order from our end with my own estimate - how many more people will fall behind on their charges because they have to manually make payments? @thameswater refused to recalculate the "payment plan" said I should do it myself!

How many thousands of people will be hit by this, this month and not realise their estimates are 2x - 3x what they should be?? If I hadn't called to query that today I would be out of pocket for 6 months before the next meter reading!

"Collections" team said only thing they can do is an income assessment to reduce the payment (I don't need that) - but they won't manually recalculate the monthly d/d based on their own estimates. Their advice was - cancel our direct debit & make manual payments!!

Get a load of this @MartinSLewis - @thameswater increased our monthly charge by 142% and have admitted the calculation doesn't make sense - but they won't recalculate it! Said we'll get the money back in 6 months🤯 Charges +34% 👌 Usage +6% 👌 Monthly D/D: £19/m -> £46/m 😱

Hey @Monevator 👋 Vanguard doesn’t accept direct debits for SIPP. Is it unwise to choose LifeStrategy but through AJ Bell instead as they accept DD. Would there be extra costs? Better to choose an AJB fund? I want an easy life with monthly DD to a simple fund. 🙌🙌

So @StarlingBank wont accept a @monzo Bank Statement as proof of address because, to quote their support: "Anyone can just change a Monzo address willy-nilly so we don't accept them as proof." 😲

Very helpful @AndCasting It would be extremely valuable to have context around those percentages by sharing how many submissions were received for ABCD. This will allow many to understand the scale a lot better, and if there was any link between scale/% invited to tape 🙏

The audacity of @virginmedia telling me that they will charge me £25 admin fee if the engineer comes to my house and I miss the appointment or they find the fault is not theirs. How about I charge you £25 admin fee every time my internet goes down or the engineer is late!!!!!!

I’m sorry @goustocooking but we’re breaking up. Ever since you stopped separating your dry ingredients it takes me 10 mins to prepare to cook a 10 minute meal. It’s just no fun any more. Every week my turmeric stash grows bigger and my motivation smaller. 😢

I can't "manage the PCN online" because according to your system its already closed! Of course it is - you wouldn't release my car until I paid the PCN! Now no way to manage it online, no phone will pick up, no emails being responded to, no letters are being acknowledged. 😡😠
