At a moment when the cost of living is unrelentingly high and demand for electricity is soaring, policymakers from both parties must recommit to an all of the above energy strategy. It's good policy and a winning message.

What can we learn from these elections? Americans are paying close attention to their everyday costs – and they understand the connection between cuts to clean energy and higher prices.

A truer version of the Secretary’s comments: The Administration is bringing SOME energy back on the grid…while blocking other domestic energy sources.
.@SecretaryWright: “We are bringing energy back on the grid…I was able to waive some of those [Biden administration] regulations…We would have far more blackouts and higher power prices if we would’ve continued the trajectory of the Obama and Biden presidencies.

Glad to see a full @FERC with the swearing in of Commissioner @LaCerteDA. FERC works best with a full complement of commissioners to ensure abundant, reliable, and affordable energy for all.

Resuscitating aging coal facilities & adding gas plants does not provide enough power to meet near term demand. Even if every coal plant stayed online, they would only cover 15% of the electric power gap. When electricity demand exceeds supply, consumers pay the price.

Anyone who opens their electricity bill knows the President has broken his promise to cut electricity rates in half. Energy prices are growing faster under the Trump administration than Bush, Obama and Biden. Needlessly restricting energy supply is contributing to higher prices.
.@POTUS: "The big thing is energy—when you bring down energy, everything comes down. The energy prices are WAY down."

Gov. Cox – and all Governors - must have the right to design the “all of the above” mix of energy resources that works best for their state. Continued federal interference is going to raise energy prices across the nation.
This is how we lose the AI/energy arms race with China. Our country needs an all-of-the-above approach to energy (like Utah). We should be all in on nuclear/natural gas/geothermal and keeping our coal plants open for as long as possible. However, there are

1,000 union workers were fired at Revolution Wind with no specific rationale. Sean’s got it right – this is as much a free enterprise issue as it is a detriment to national security and affordable electricity.
Let’s call the Department of the Interior’s stop-work order for Revolution Wind what it is: President Donald Trump just fired 1,000 of our members who had already labored to complete 80% of this major energy project. A ‘stop-work order’ is the fancy bureaucratic term, but it

Worth revisiting Naval Commander Lippold's warning about regulatory unpredictability in offshore energy production. We can either be the country that builds the energy infrastructure of the future, or we can be the country that taught the world not to trust our permitting

At a time of soaring demand and rising energy prices, a commitment to not interfere with energy projects already under construction would be a step toward rational energy policy, and basic fairness.

Gas + Solar + Wind + nuclear + storage + hydro = affordable energy. By slowing clean energy deployment, the administration is driving up energy bills - particularly in rural states.
RENEWABLES counterpunch in ME: Trump blames rising power prices on wind/solar, but industry is pushing back — and bringing data to fore. “This problem is pretty easy to fix. All the administration has to do is to stop obstructing deployment of clean power," @JasonGrumet told us

When government officials start PR campaigns claiming something is not their fault… It’s their fault. Obstructing the fastest growing source of American power during a period of high demand is going to hurt consumers.
ICYMI, my interview w/ Energy Sec Chris Wright, free to read @politico. "We’re going to get blamed" for power price spikes, he told me. He says it's because of Dem moves against fossil fuels, but Trump is curbing development of fastest-to-deploy solar/wind
