We love taking our theatre to schools all over the North West ✨.

Puppeteers of the future ….
Everyone had hands-on opportunities to manipulate puppets and to try on masks from a range of genres. Some girls even learned how to transform their own coats into puppet characters ☺️.

Lovely to start a Monday morning with Y6 and Y4 @BSPDJnrBoys and @GoofusTheatre. Pictured, a post show meet and greet with puppets and chance for pupils to ask questions about theatre making and the story they watched - ‘Carried Away by the Wind’. Y5 audience this afternoon ☺️.

An exciting week for us at Goofus Theatre! We are being supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England!!. This winter we will be creating a new dementia friendly piece of theatre to tour to care homes, community spaces & hospitals. Excited 🤩

This is fabulous. My theatre company work locally to take live performances to spaces supporting people living with dementia & their carers. People who just can’t access the arts unless we take it to them. The joy & smiles we see every time tells us we need to do this more !.
