Just finished my first attending case! As I dropped the patient off in the ICU, Senator @RonWyden thanked me and the team for our hard work. Should I expect a congressman to thank me after every case as an attending? 😂(But truly, THANK YOU to the providers caring for Covid pts!).

🚨 I just accepted my first patient transfer ever! 🚨 Never mind that @FlavioRochaMD and @drymtn were sitting 6 feet from me and fully supportive… but I JUST TOOK A CALL FROM THE TRANSFER CENTER AND ACCEPTED A NEW PATIENT TRANSFER. I’m beaming. 🥳 #growingup.
