cave textures! Deep slate versions of the ores, azalea bushes, and raw ore for gold and iron (also snuck in a gold bar re-work) I love lush caves <3
Happy 15 years to Minecraft! Here is a collection of some of the freshly textured Bamboo items from ZigZag! Tried to desaturate a bit just to make it blend it with the other wood colors.
Progress continues on the nether update for ZigZag! Made sure I took some thought on making the new wood/doors in a way that will help spice up builds! I also have the warped/crimson nylium finished, which I'll try and take a nice screenshot for!
ZigZag has been resubmitted! (Some troubles in submission process for sure, but I'm hoping it's smoothed out!) I'll update here as soon as I know if it all went through this time! Thank you all for the patience. <3

Not a ton of blocks left to do, just finished up all the candles! Natural lush caves are looking good. Heading into the dripstone files! Check out my messy/garbage testing area haha!

A little WIP on villager progress! Hopefully you will all enjoy the variety! I'm trying to give each biome a little back story, like the warrior women of the taiga, or the cosmically connected desert people. Some still need hats (Snowy/plains/jungle) but they are shaping up!

Been working on this sculpt of Miss Trunchbull for the past few weeks as my daughter was finally old enough to enjoy the movie. I thought it would be fun to imagine her as a stop motion puppet. Working on a better render and turn around next, and then maybe on to more of the cast
What does the fox say?? Edited their noses a little bit to make room for their big ol' ZigZag eyes. Currently bug fixing and integrating for both bedrock and java, and hoping to have updates out within the next few weeks!
The biome villagers are DOOONE! I still need to do profession overlays, and zombie versions, but it feels good to have at least the base set finished! Been a little slower than I would like, but I promise I'm working as fast as possible to update java/bedrock for village/pillage
Zombieeees! Apologies for the slow progress towards the java and bedrock, it's been hard to get time in with being back to work and taking care of the bean. BUT it's moving along slowly but surely!

The final two villager types! For these two in particular I decided to go a bit more fantastical, while still keeping the basic proportions so they match the others. Angled shot added to show off their goofy hats :)

ZigZag Process Tips n' Tricks!
I do my main textures in photoshop, but when it comes time to work on something that tiles, I use the program

Y'all. Finding silly bugs in a video game is supposed to be fun. It's a bad look to use them to be mean spirited towards devs. Approaching the craft with curiosity rather than instant criticism will go a long way in enjoying games more.
A new ZigZag update is "LOOMING" Textures are complete for the loom/ stonecutter/composter/smithing table and a rework of the bookshelf (in prep for the lectern) Hoping to have this in java/bedrock soon! ETA is tough since I'm working around the babies schedule ;)

SO! The new blast furnace added to Minecraft looks a lot like the pre-existing ZigZag furnace, so I want to try a new texture for the furnace that resembles the original more closely so I can use the one already in the pack. What do you think? (also added the smoker)
Lots of little bits and bobs are getting done! Crossbows/spawn eggs/scaffolding/bamboo/ and a few new dyes! Several bugs were also addressed this week to clean up Bedrock edition for the next version release.
Poll time! The oak door is one of the oldest textures in the ZigZag pack, and I've been considering an update to bring it a touch closer to vanilla so it can be used in standard builds/furniture more easily. What do folks prefer? (poll in reply)

Last two cats complete! Now it's all down to the last few bugs and device tests before sending off for approvals, but all the textures are finally done for the next Bedrock update!
