In 2011 i was taken in the 6th round of the MLB draft. There wasn’t even a 6th round in 2020. I feel for all those kids out there who might not be 1st rounders but definitely have what it takes. Keep playing your asses off at school and everything will fall into place in the end!

I had the privilege of hitting with Derek Jeter when i was 19 everyday for 2 weeks. He came to the field every day ready to work. He answered any questions i had, and treated me with respect. It meant the world to me coming from one of my idols. Well deserved

I spent a little time around Jay Bruce in spring of 16. I was 23 trying to make the club and Jay was someone who i looked up to. He gave me advice every day on how to be a pro, and really just included me which meant more to me than he could imagine. Enjoy retirement 👊🏻
