VestGuard, our LST is moving into a new chapter. The project will continue independently under the name Equilibrium, led & maintained by @Jacopokpp as an open-source venture.

@roamoilanen @AndrewMKotulak In an ideal world Algorand has enough treasury (or high enough demand and adoption) to keep sustaining the ecosystem, pay off engineering teams and more research teams to improve the core protocol, all things that Bitcoin doesn't need because 1) it's network effect is already big.

Such a shame that with all the time taken to set up governance it still feels so detached from the community. Is it possible that in all the years where it was promised to deliver something at least decently close to a decentralised protocol we ended up with such a centralised.
@AlgoFoundation Algorand governance is not a protocol. It’s a single off-chain script that scrapes the indexer, tallies balances, and writes to a database that only the Foundation has access to. That script has been tweaked in the past to include LP tokens, LSTs, etc. There is no consensus.

I'm doing my part 🫡. Stop Killing Games! . The industry needs to uphold consumer rights, there's plenty of ways to keep community support for games before ending up shutting them down.
We have passed 500k signatures! I didn't enjoy making the last video on the initiative, but it seems like it really removed a roadblock we were having with the momentum. It's anyone's guess how long we can keep it going, but it has more of a chance now.
