My current answer to the "why MCP instead of a CLI or API directly" question.
@RubberDucky_AI @aidenybai I think it's a fair question and not definitively answered. In this example could def use Linear API direct or CLI. In fact, I prefer using the gh cli over gh MCP generally. MCP does solve the many to many problem nicely. I built a number of servers for a Claude Code driven.
