The thing about the scandi democracies that bothers me is thereโs basically 0 social mobility. Low inequality and plenty of services, but no opportunity. Everyone is comfy, but itโs like an entire society just frozen in place, nobody fails, but nobody succeeds

Kevin McElhinney was 17 in 1972. A British soldier shot and killed him as he crawled to safety. Reacting to the murder, Michael Bridge, a steward wearing a white armband, screamed โYou murdering bastardsโ. He was also shot. Prosecute the "murdering bastards". 50 years overdue.
Labour MP's should hang their heads in shame. They just voted to allow the prosecution of our brave Northern Ireland veterans. Soldiers defended us. We should be defending them. Why would anyone serve our country if this is how they are treated?
