This forecast may be enough for something for Canadian border states, if we do get impact. I will be on the south shore of Lake Superior. Something photographable could materialize here, should the clouds cooperate
Will we see a CME impact around the New Year? NASA is forecasting the M4.2 CME may graze Earth around 12-31 22 UT (Wednesday night). Kp 4-6 (G0-G2) conditions may occur, but I don't have too much hope. We'll see what shows up at L1!

Finallly arrived at my location of Port Washington, Wisconsin after a few stops. Wish I chased those tornadic supercells earlier passing through IL, but a nice M flare and some good fishing should keep me busy this week!

Sources are saying a PDS Troutnado watch is in effect for Lake Michigan coastlines today through Wednesday. Stay tuned as I chase these large girthy troutcells starting 3PM central time. Keep all pet bugs inside. They are at high risk.

AR 4321 is in the Earth-strike zone now moving towards the Sun's western limb. AR 4317 has a beta-gamma configuration, and NOAA SWPC gives it a 5% chance of producing an X-class flare within the next 24 hours. Maybe we'll see some Christmas magic today?

AR 4321 wasn't even born two days ago, and it already has M-flare potential and a beta-delta magnetic configuration. This active region has a unique north-south spread instead of the usual east-west growth we see. It has a 50/15 % chance of C/M-class flares.
