Enjoying a few days away from Blighty. Just finished Jeremy Wilson’s magnificent biography of Beryl Burton- Beryl. What a phenomenon. Knew her name and that she was a cyclist from the North but ignorant as to her truly astonishing career. Unique yet largely unheralded.
