After many of you lovely people told me how you say “garage” in a poll, I concluded that it has too many pronunciations to work in a rhyming poem. Which meant, of course, that I had to try.

Word that’s making me smile today: confelicity. It comes from two bits of Latin (con and felicitas) that literally mean “together happiness.” Confelicity is taking delight in someone else’s happiness.

Expression that’s making me smile today: Release the inner chicken! It’s how Brazilians encourage each other to step outside of their comfort zone and let loose the chicken that’ll make them do the robot on the dance floor at a family wedding.
