In 1944, the Somaliland Camel Corps was disbanded due to mutinies between the regiments. In 1944-1945,the Somaliland scouts were formed, and their responsibility was to protect the boarders and maintain law and order in Somaliland. @true0ptimist
@true0ptimist "The First to be Freed” covers the liberation of Italia Somalia from Fascist control 1941 to 1943. Somalilanders from the Somaliland Camel Corps and the King's African rifles joined in the operations. It was published in 1944.
