What an amazing evening. These students are my inspiration. When I grow up, I hope to have half of their bravery, creativity and talent.
We are so incredible proud of this group of students who celebrated the launch of Female Voices this evening at Stormont. They have worked tirelessly all year and it was fitting to have them rightly celebrated for an amazing final resource. Video link: https://t.co/SUSbTf4m1Q

The words of the amazing @jusmunkaur were used to set the perfect tone for the evening. Thank you, Jasmin, for giving us permission to use Scream to be our anthem for the Female Voices project.

The resource will be launched at Stormont in June thanks to the support of @KateNicholl. It will then be made freely available for use in any school who will find it helpful. The students who have created the resource have been my source of inspiration and pride all year.

A sneak peek of a resource I’ve been making with a group of students, Female Voices. This is our profile of @EmmaDabiri which will form part of a chapter addressing the lack of female voices across the curriculum. The resource also challenges misogyny in education and society.

This was class today!
An absolute privilege to talk to General Secretary of the Methodist Church Rev Dr Heather Morris and MLA @KateNicholl as part of our Female Voices Project. It was inspiring to hear about their experiences. A central theme was about the importance of women championing one another.

One further reflection is that Start Again is not only a very well chosen song to follow, but actually the necessary song to follow because we all need picked up and goodness knows the drum fill in the last chorus picks us up and then kicks almighty amounts of ass.

It really has been the best podcast I’ve listened to in years and I can’t wait to hear your next output.

My students told me today that long, meandering tangents that I find fascinating and funny anecdotes about my life are my “brand”. It’s clear that I want to be @harvilla when I grow up and am done with teaching. Congrats on the last episode of 60 Songs! https://t.co/NizfMZGOHB
