Stephen Miller claims the Trump administration struck a deal with MN officials whereby "jails & prisons are no longer going to obey the unlawful edict by Keith Ellison. Instead they're gonna follow federal law, the supreme law of the land, & hand over criminal illegal aliens."

DHS never stops lying. They lie and lie. That agency is in the deepest of holes when it comes to public trust.
DHS says there are 1,360 immigrants in MN jails/prisons w/ current ICE detainers. We know ~200 are in state prisons. But, where are the others? I reached out to the biggest counties. Current ICE detainer numbers are minuscule. DHS can’t explain the 1,360 number or provide data.

Putting aside the fact that ICE was there to arrest two alleged child rapists, it’s insane to expect HCSO court deputies to confront armed federal agents performing their duties lawfully. This whole thing sucks but that doesn’t mean you should make it worse.
Yesterday morning, in the lobby of the Hennepin County Government Center, two members of our community were arrested by ICE agents as HSCO deputies looked on. These kidnappings are horrible and cannot continue on our watch.
