Love these resources with KS3 and 4. So excited to use them with A level, too! Thank you for sharing @draustinmaths

I had some kids with fake casios last year; we didn’t notice for a while until it started giving them incorrect answers using normal distribution! No idea how it was programmed, but quite a problem for a probability module! Advise your A level and #coremaths students!

Who knows what the children have seen on the news or heard at home this week, or over the coming weeks. When we get back to school we must show them the value of tolerance, inclusivity, empathy and respect. Right from day one, in every classroom. Show them what really matters.

Stayed awake long enough to join a fantastic @Advanced_Maths #CoreMaths discussion this evening. Always so useful and come away with so many ideas, which I will hopefully put into action as soon as I have the brain power! Thank you @CoreMathsTom @CoreMathsCat and team 😊

Some pretty terrifying statistics here. How can we better support our young people to access education whilst maintaining positive mental health?
Mental health should be at the heart of our education system. If healthier and happier, young people will have more opportunity to really thrive. It is on the Government to make this happen.

Such an important thread. RSE is a vital topic to teach but it must be done carefully, with proper thought for the teachers and students involved.
So yesterday I froze at work and stared at the emergency exit sign above the lecture theatre door. I'd been triggered. I was there with my year 9 group so they could have an RSE talk from the school nurses. STIs amd types of contraception I knew were coming up, science/medical...

7 years of teaching did not adequately prepare me for a bird flying in through the window whilst year 10s were silently sitting a test…🤦🏼♀️
