The vast majority of Americans want to live in a country where immigrants who do everything right aren’t yanked out of line by federal agents right before they swear an oath to become citizens.

Dear American friends, Europe is your closest ally, not your problem. And we have common enemies. At least that’s how it has been in the last 80 years. We need to stick to this, this is the only reasonable strategy of our common security. Unless something has changed.

Over a third of GOP voters think the moon landing was faked and that the Holocaust was greatly exaggerated or didn’t happen as historians describe. Over 40% think 9/11 was likely an inside job. And more than half still think the 2020 election was rigged.

This matters. It illustrates that the white voters of Massachusetts were not, on the whole, anti-slavery until close to the Civil War. And that emancipation in Massachusetts arose not from white morality, but from economic practicality, the impact of the Revolution, and (cont.)

Massachusetts didn't abolish slavery in 1783. While courts weakened the institution in the 1780s, there was no law or court decision abolishing slavery in the state until the 1840s. The 1783 Quock Walker case was important, but involved no ruling that slavery was abolished.

It's really bad that lying is so normalized at the highest levels of government. And this isn't 'my point of view vs yours'. This isn't differing interpretations. This is knowing the stone-cold, 100% dead set truth, staring directly into camera, and lying about it anyways.

If you see someone wearing a mask and your reaction is "why are they still doing that?" — It's because they're following the science, and you're not. You're following a social norm created by the corporate takeover of public health, and they're not. No need to further wonder!
