The next @HaagseFietszwer will take place Sunday afternoon starting from the Grote Markt. Will you also join this Critical Mass? The idea is to make it safe for each other to ride bicycles through the streets. After all, there's safety in numbers!π²

#Fietsgeluk en #fietsgezondheid. En dan nog wat andere voordelen van fietsen: minder kosten/km, minder herrie, minder luchtvervuiling, minder grond/straat nodig, minder grondstoffen nodig, minder energie, meer interactie met anderen. Allemaal pluspunten dus! ππͺππ΄ββοΈπππβ»οΈπ΄
Due to lack of physical exercise, diabetes, obesitas and other diseases are on the rise; causing huge health costs in the future. We must convince governments and cash-strapped health systems that it makes sense to invest in everyday cycling now, to save a lot of money later.

Fietsen is gezond voor het individu (oa beweging πͺ, ontspanning βΊοΈ), goed voor de directe omgeving (oa minder herrie, luchtvervuiling , ruimtegebruik), de maatschappij (oa minder kosten) en het milieu (oa minder energiegebruik, minder grondstoffen nodig, meer ruimte voor groen)

Mooi berekend. Echter het hele F1-circus, alle transport van F1-wagens, alle toebehoren en personeel, per vliegtuig, en alle toeschouwers per auto en vliegtuig, kost heel veel CO2, fijnstof, brandstof, etc etc. Dat bespaart een windmolen ook niet, helaas.
De CO2 uitstoot van de Formule 1 wagens in een raceweekend komt overeen met de gemiddelde CO2-besparing door 1 windturbine op zee gedurende 7 uren.

π₯³π²π§‘ It is back; 'our' orange bicycle parking in front of the embassy office! The embassy has given up one of the two official diplomat car parking spaces. We want to use it for bicycle parking instead. The space of 1 car fits up to 12 bikes! Kiitos @HelsinkiKymp
