A good sign of a successful reading area- it is used. Simple, uncluttered & filled with books identifying with the children’s interests. Finding out reader identities is key! Talk, listen & act on these. The love of reading will spread. There is a book out there for everyone!

We love poetry books at our base hub. After carrying out a review of our libraries, we noticed that children were not choosing poetry as much as fiction & non-fiction. So we heightened it on WBD & have created features across the hub. It has worked! #LovePoetry #PlayWithWords
