Here's the thing - the state is hungry & it's going to extract its financial viands from you, one way or the other. That said, property tax is a special type of evil. I'm taxed on some accountant's handwaving about what they think my house is worth. They decide someone's house.

30+ years of development and I HATE HATE HATE "Well, it works on my machine!". How does that help the client?. I bring this up because we have a client who can't get something working, and no matter HOW HARD I TRY, it works fine for me. It's NOT working for them, and I cannot.

Be me. Trying to dive back into the Commodore 64 world. Wanting to get back into assembly. Back when I was a lad, we had BYTE magazine and had to look at the page and type every character by hand. At least today I can just read a web page and copy the code right?. NO! They're.
