Well, it seems I am officially a published scientist 🥳🙌🏻👩🏻💻 Thanks @mackinderlab and team for supporting me! .This work on diatom pyrenoids is interesting and exciting - definitely take a look (especially figure 4b 😉) .@CellCellPress.
A blueprint of the diatom pyrenoid reveals a Rubisco encapsulating protein Shell is critical for CO2 fixation. Is it essential for global NPP? Congrats to @OnyouNam,@james_r_barrett,@ItsCarolineMck,@JNB_lab + great collab with @DemulderManon,@bengeliscious.

Small but mighty! .Phytoplankton - 'the world's most unknown climate hero'.
Phytoplankton are a vital part of the ocean's system regulating climate change. 🦠💪. These tiny plant-like #plankton 'breathe in' carbon and 'breathe out' oxygen. Here's 4⃣ of the main types:.🔴Diatoms.🟡Flagellates.🔵Synechococcus.🟢Prochlorococcus. 📽️@NASA /MIT Darwin Project
