I made research during 5 years about learning. And I decided to put everything I discovered together in a documentary I worked on during 200+ hours. And it is finally out. If you are obsessed about continuous learning and growing like me, you NEED to watch it.

In a nutshell:.1. Ignore the noises. 2. Stop eating junk-knowledge. 3. Stop being a learning amateur. 4. Make the knowledge your. 5. Block out time to apply. Learn more, earn more.

To make the most of what you've learned, set aside a specific amount of time to apply it. For example: I've learned about branding, I'll take 3 hours to write up a new process for my team, create my brand manifesto. All this is applying your knowledge.

The trouble is, they only apply 5% of what they've learned. It's like throwing money down the drain. The reason: they think that learning is all about consuming knowledge. It's not.

Rule #5: Block out time to apply. When I talk to entrepreneurs, they tell me they invest tens of thousands of euros every year to learn.

To do this, take notes that combine the visual and the verbal. Diagrams, pictograms and key words. You'll summarise a book on a single page, adding your perspective (and you'll happily reread that note).

Rule #4: Make the knowledge your. You haven't assimilated a subject if you're just repeating concepts. You need to have your own vision of the book, your own vision of the subject.
