Congrats Farid and colleagues. I was delighted to chair the DSMB and can attest to the rigorous conduct of the study - and the very impressive safety is hugely important.
New over 22 weeks dapagliflozin, as an adjunct to insulin, in youth with #T1D reduced measured eGFR (mGFR) improved glycemic control and was safe when combined with ketone testing and risk mitigation strategies @UHN @NatureMedicine @uoftmedicine.
