Great action from @CIWF_EU, working hard to keep our institutions accountable ⚖️🐔 and to hear many are joining to support in this all-important case for EU democracy and animal welfare 💪🏼
We have joined forces with environmental, pro-democracy, consumer rights and animal welfare organisations to ask to join the #EndtheCageAge legal case to ensure the @EU_Commission honours its promise and bans cages in the EU. We will not rest until every cage is an empty cage.

What an absolute disgrace @Europarl_EN. Applying an urgency procedure to a proposal that does nothing to improve farmers' livelihoods, instead threatening their future - and everyone else's - only shows willful ignorance and a concerning disregard for democracy.
Shame on @Europarl_EN , they voted in support of muzzling the democratic debate on a proposal to scrap environmental conditions attached to 30 % of EU budget ! #CAP we will scrutizine the results !!! Count on us!
