Thank you for sharing this OvPS π Don't forget adults, that when reading to younger children, we must allow the story to weave its magic....read all of the story without stopping and enjoy embrace conversations afterwards...

Huge thanks to @JCAWakefield for hosting an inspiring event! @IronstoneAT staff will be sharing lots of ideas with our colleagues. Your junior leaders are incredible & so is your approach to careers-related learning. Thinking about connecting you with @spiketown for a CRL convo!

Year 1 have had a wonderful day visiting China. The day started with an 11-hour flight. When they arrived, they were given the chance to taste some traditional Chinese food, make Chinese lanterns, paper chain dragons and learn lots of interesting facts!

WOW! This is very advanced Shelley First. We have a Science lead @NormanbyPrimary who too provides these wonderful experiences. We could network?
Children in class Lake enjoyed having visitors from Sheffield Hallam University in school. They learnt more about the human body and had the opportunity to look closely at vital organs in animals. Ask them what they have learnt...

So proud of our choir today who brought a smile to the faces of residents at Middlesbrough Grange Care Home with Christmas songs and poems. Well done to you all on your singing, enthusiasm and care with the residents and for showing a true community spirit. @IronstoneAT

It's important to have displays of front-facing books to capture children's attention - this helps attract readers who are more reluctant to pick up a text...
