@TolTigs @IrishShakedown Auburn did the exact thing Bama did in 2017, went 10-2, was ranked #2, lost 28-7 to Georgia in the SEC Championship who they beat 40-17 earlier in the season. But because of that loss they dropped 5 spots from #2 to #7. Please tell me how Bama is different this year from Auburn.

When Florida State got screwed over in 2023, the bowl game they played against Georgia was used in a bad faith argument to prove they never belonged anyway. It is a no win situation for Notre Dame to play, so get fucked.
I understand Notre Dame being upset about the playoff but to throw a pity party and not play in a bowl game is quite a new precedent for a 10-2 football team
