Easiest 5/5 of the year. In testament to how fun this was to read, i found myself picking it up whenever i had a spare moment. I usually read in the mornings, but created a habit of reading under lamp light at night just so i could read more of it, sooner. Fantastic.

This argument is lazy, quoting absolute values of supermarket earnings (razor thin margins), as though it's shocking. Supermarkets are a victim of inflation, and a basic understanding of how businesses work would make this obvious. I wrote about this recently (next tweet)

Reading this (also a 5/5) educated me on how deeply intertwined Scottish (and more broadly, the UK) history is with the United States. I wonder why the emigrant population were blessed with this spirit and not the ones who stayed at home.

Reading this (5/5 btw) is making me appreciate the tenacity of the American people. So many times throughout history have they combusted in spectacular fashion. But they always get back up, and prosper, because they didn’t hear no bell.
