Mask Bans 🧵 Not a complete list but here are enacted/threatened mask bans found so far. Since there's precedent this is narrowed to recent years amid an ongoing/normalized pandemic & repression of antiracist/anti-genocide protests, and primarily in the US (tho some others too).

Fascists can write “we’re giving 700 quadrillion dollars to the Gestapo to build a new concentration camp in every city” on paper and there’s little we can do to stop that. The infrastructure that makes it actually real passes by and through us. That, we can and will stop.

they will be massively emboldened by this bill, absolutely, but there are other ways to hold them back. just last month they were saying so themselves. LA continues to slow & disrupt their efforts and that can also be scaled!
the ONE thing holding ICE back was procedural and monetary. with the BBB giving them $150 billion and merging them with every other law enforcement, they will have all the information and money to do what they've always wanted. they built the florida concentration camp in 8 days.
