A new hip resurfacing that enables women to have a type of hip surgery previously only suitable for men has been awarded a CE mark. This is a wonderful example of how our innovations are transforming patient care 👏🏾.
Imperial researchers have designed a new hip replacement that is transforming outcomes for younger and more active women. Designed in partnership with spinout Embody Orthopaedic, the implant has now received its CE Mark so can be sold across Europe.
