Thoracic aortic disease is associated with >300 deaths/yr in Australia. In NZ, acute aortic syndromes occur at ~3/100k population/yr with >40 deaths a year. High mortality underlines the need for rapid access to open surgery and hybrid theatres. #ThinkAortaANZ @ThinkAorta
