Netherlands just cancelled the 36% tax on unrealized gains. Back to the drawing board after huge negative public reaction. You can't force people to pay taxes on paper profits they have not realized yet. Especially when those gains can evaporate overnight. This policy was

I'm sorry. I'm just not buying the scenario that there is a line of pizza delivery vehicles pulling up to the front door of the Pentagon and checking in with the security desk to drop off late night nourishment.
🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Remember the guys tracking pizza orders near the Pentagon? When late night delivery spikes, it often means something is about to happen militarily. It spiked before the Iran strikes last June. Spiked before the U.S. captured Maduro in January. The War Secretary was

You want to "empower parents?" Forget KOSA, GUARD, or SCREEN. Get us back to a 1-parent-in-the-workforce economy, so parents can be at home with kids.
It's all connected, guys. Tough love incoming. Childhood literacy rates are not just declining because the education system is failing. Parents are more distracted than ever. Children are addicted to screens - because parents are putting iPads in their toddler's hands before

I expect, if it's not already happening, a chatbot to start back channel snitching on people who are chatting with it about "dangerously subversive" ideas.
Large language models will eventually be - arguably likely already are - essential for free speech, particularly anonymous speech. Controversial speakers will need to run their writings through AI to disguise their written voice.

❗️Apple ID verification only applies to two US states and I expect Supreme Court rulings on those. “Thw downloads of apps rated 18+ in Brazil, Australia, and Singapore, while also rolling out other features to comply with laws in Utah and Louisiana in the U.S.” I have to admit,
