Our methodology evaluates whether curricula foster equality, mutual respect and aim for equal representation of people regardless of their gender identity. Textbooks must also refrain from language, content, and imagery that depicts limiting and exclusionary gender roles.
Quality education is crucial to reducing inequalities among vulnerable populations and those who experience marginalization and exclusion. Beyond improving access, quality education must teach the values of tolerance, inclusion, and coexistence to build more peaceful societies.
