Yay team! ROPA- a subtly subversive idea, relevant in #ASP ward based audit settings: rotate audit wards by geography and volume of use-to do the most you can in your time. ✅You have an educational presence. ✅You get good data ✅better workflow 🤷♀️ But - you miss a few.
New in @ICHEJournal from @IDdocChen et al An alternate strategy to daily prospective audit and feedback to maximize efficiency. #antimicrobialstewardship

🆕Update to our Review on Bacterial Infection in #COVID19: while co-infection remains infrequently reported, secondary infection is more common, especially in ICU. But- high heterogeneity across studies and less than 1/3 studies have low risk of bias: https://t.co/6uxJq7FNAB

I know it's a beautiful weekend but please take a few minutes to listen to Dr Schwartz (@GermHunterMD) expertly discuss why the government should be rethinking these proposed changes. #ableg #COVID19AB
Hear from @UofA_ID’s Dr Schwartz on why he and others are concerned about Alberta’s plan to drop nearly all remaining public health measures against COVID19

@Ddrekonja Huge pet peeve! Particularly when it or the TST are ordered to work up a symptomatic patient. I think there should be a Constitutional amendment indicating that the ordering of a TST or quantiferon test to work up for active TB is a treasonous offense. RT if you agree.
