Five new rainbow plaques will be installed across the capital to celebrate significant people, places and moments in LGBTQI+ history, funded as part of my Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm. I hope to see more rainbow plaques in the future.

Today is the start of #PrideMonth 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Pride Month began after the Stonewall riots, a series of gay liberation protests in 1969. Modern-day Pride Month both honors the movement for LGBTQ+ rights and celebrates LGBTQ+ culture.

Today marks the start of #PrideMonth. As one of Europe’s largest employers of LGBT+ people, it's important that we celebrate #OurNHSPeople who are LGBT+ and their contributions. It's vital that everyone can come to work their most authentic self in a safe, inclusive environment.
