There have been a few changes around here - our name, our strategy, our vision. We are still doing the same work, with the same commitment to our clients but we are delighted to announce our new name: Tosú which means ‘beginning’ in the Irish language.

Great to see Justice Minister @OCallaghanJim commit to alternatives to prison early in his term. Prison isn’t always the answer - especially for non-violent offences. More community sanctions & support services are needed to break the cycle of reoffending.

Nearly 20% of people in Cork Prison are still without a bed. Sleeping on a mattress on the floor, while having to share unpartitioned toilets with multiple cellmates is unacceptable and demeaning situation that no one should have to endure. @echolivecork
