The cage is one of the most unique aspects to modern MMA. I think it’s been the under appreciated meta for the last 7 years. People forget how different many fight outcomes might be if it was in a ring. Anthony Pettis would have had a much easier career. Whole different timeline.

Great exercise to relax the neck & traps. Keys:. > Hold dumbbells out at 30 degrees. > Pull the ribs slightly back without getting shorter and reach armpits toward hands. > Exhale completely and gently inhale through the nose trying to make the ribcage expand in all directions.

By default 96% of this country doesn’t understand what it was like to *not* be begging Tom Brady would fall off. And he basically just didn’t. He has the mindset to draw from but many were just busy crying all day from losing. Few understand the vibes back then.

This obviously doesn’t apply in cases where someone is trying to be healthier but is just starting. But guys who clearly are experienced past 2-5 years in the gym saying this are not motivated by their health and fitness performance as much as how they look in the mirror. Nothing.

So many guys are afraid to say they just want to train for looks. Easiest way to expose this is when they say they workout for their health - ask:. “What does your cardio program look like?”. If they can’t describe what they do or it’s just zone 2 then it’s not a health program.
