If "Chip" or your #name had fit the *exact criteria listed⬇️while knowing the ubiquity of this #tech & the inability to say your name in *multiple spaces w/o triggering devices; would you be👍🏼with this? . These reasons don't justify the outcomes.➡️#RebrandAlexa #Alexa #VoiceFirst
@washingtonpost I was a member of that original Amazon team, and it was also chosen because a) phonetically it served as a good “wake word” that didn’t match a lot of common words that would create false positives, and b) we already owned Alexa brand name.
