We could've had the woman who created the OpenJustice model and resource for transparency, open data, and accountability in policing. It informed projects like Police Scorecard and Police Misconduct Registry and guided her own work on the (stalled) Justice in Policing Act.

Since we're hyping up 80 year old white men for passing the baton to new leaders, save some praise for a woman who for years has been loud and intentional about supporting and mentoring Black women public servants and about building a pipeline.
