Meet our 2025 Lo Máximo Homeboy Hero! Hugo Gonzalez works in the gang intervention, rehabilitation, and reentry areas. He came to Homeboy as a trainee in 2018 and became a much sought after tour guide. He was an Initiate Justice Inside Organizer.

Currently, Kanaka works at Grandview Foundation as a certified drug and alcohol counselor, helping others heal and recover from their disease of addiction. She treasures Homeboy Industries as a sanctuary of second chances and carries this with her in her work every day.
